Weekly Heads Up on the Arts Scene - Christmas!

Everything is late this week! Blame Santa! Or I guess you can blame me, since I am barely holding it together with all the crazy last-minute stuff. Christmas is not a calm time for me, as I'm sure for lots of people it is not, so I can guarantee that I will not be visiting any art galleries over the next few days! But Christmas isn't "presents and turkey" for everyone, so I am glad to report that the Vancouver Art Gallery will be open on bothe Christmas Day and New Year's Day for those folks out there who would rather be doing something else on Dec. 25th, whatever the many, many good reasons. Movies have been a very popular Christmas Day activity, with many of them opening especially on Christmas Day, but I kind of like the idea of visiting an art gallery. The Gallery will be open from 10 AM - 4 PM both days and check the Arts section of the last few Saturday Vancouver Sun's, because there have been some "buy one, get one free" coupons there.
