Girl about town Morgan Brayton opens "Girls Like Me" at the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island starting this thursday! "Girls Like Me" is an award winning show that premiered at last year's Vancouver Fringe Festival. Written and performed by Morgan Brayton and directed by John Murphy, this promises to be a rollicking ride on the hilarity bus with characters that will keep your sides hurting until the end.

"Meet middle-aged mom Button Bradley on the occasion of her first Women's Studies class. Root for nervous neophyte exotic dancer Cherry Lipsmacker as she takes to the stage and dances her way into your...um...heart. Have your license and registration ready because when Sgt. Tibble pulls you over, you'll know you've been pulled over. And get a lesson in becoming a woman from Lizzie who learned about her fallopian tubes today at school. And yes, there will be haiku."

Details after the jump.
