Part of the series - Weekly Heads Up on the Arts Scene

Now that art movements have gone from modernist, past post-modernist, and through the many digital realms, sometimes it's nice to have a look back at the basics. The Vancouver Art Gallery is opening a new show, PAINT, tonight that focuses on artists using that medium. In fact in recent years there has been a pronounced trend in artists returning to choosing paint as a way to express themselves.
