CONTEST: Start Your Weekend With An Orgy of the Dead...

So it's the weekend before Halloween. You've already got some of that All Hallows Eve spirit burning in your veins but it's probably too early to go out on the town wearing corpse paint with blood dripping out of your mouth and carrying around the dismembered stump of an arm. So what to do? If the first thing that comes to mind is to watch a bunch of scantily-dressed burlesque zombies get their groove on... then hot damn! Two tickets to tonight's show will go to the first Beyond Robson reader to correctly answer the trivia question at the bottom of this post.
Presented by Screaming Chicken Entertainment, this weekend's "Orgy of the Dead" is a live production of Ed Wood's cult classic film. It's the tender tale of a young couple who wander into a graveyard and find themselves smack dab in the middle of a festival of the walking dead. Brought to the audience of the WISE Hall by producer Norm Elmore and director Rebecca Franklin with a cast that includes local characters Melody Mangler, Lil' Luvroc, Dentor, Connie Lingus, Candy Curves, and many more, the show promises an evening of racy raunch in the form of ultra-campy humour and titillating burlesque dancing, complemented by a healthy dose of gore.
Zombie Trivia Question: What year was George Romero's classic zombie film "Night of the Living Dead" released? E-mail your answers to ariadna@beyondrobson.com. First right answer gets a pair of tickets for tonight's show.
There are two shows each on Friday and Saturday night at the WISE Hall at 1882 Adanac St. Doors open at 7pm & 10pm. Shows start at 8pm & 10:30pm.
