I Heart Crafts Bazaar

I hate x-mas. I hate all the cell phone ads popping up everywhere, the stupid music piped into all the stores, the red, the green, the fact that shopping season is starting even before Hallowe'en these days. But what I love about the x-mas season, besides eggnog lattes and long vacations, is a good bazaar. A good bazaar must include a few grannies, definitely some knitting, and spiked apple cider. The seamrippers always had the best winter craft fairs around, but now that they're without a home (please come back seamrippers! are you dead - I can't even find your myspace profile anymore) I'll have to try out the new hip scenester craft fair; the I Heart Crafts Bazaar. It promises lots of arty local vendors, and hopefully the crafts will be on the affordable side. Not for gifts, mind you, no I'll be shopping all for me. As for the spiked apple cider, I'll have to remember to bring my flask.
