
A bit late with the post but I did warn you about a month ago that the Ridge was going to cease being one of the greatest things about Vancouver and either close its doors forever or turn into a first-run cinema.
Well, December 23rd was the last day. That's sad.
I just checked out the site and I couldn't make out if management was switching hands or if this was the end. I left a message on The Ridge's voicemail so when they get back to me I'll get back to you.

It was bought by Festival Films, the same owner of Fifth Ave. So, while they may be first run, i think they will be quality films.
