If you're anything like me, you're a child of the 80's, and can recite Stand By Me, Goonies, & the Lost Boys verbatim.
Ok, well, even if you CAN'T (and no one will hold that against you), then you at least need to head to the Plaza Club on Friday night for a one time only, first Canadian performance ever of The Truth Movement. I know, I had to ask who they were too.
Frontman Corey Feldman (ding ding ding! that'll ring a bell or two) and his ever present sidekick, Corey Haim, are in town filming a "reality sitcom" for A&E, and to fill their off hours, they're holding a concert.
This seven member band has released three albums (who knew?) including one called Still Searching for Soul.
Admission to the concert - marking the band's debut appearance in Vancouver is by donation to the Food Bank. Doors open at 8 p.m., with the concert scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m. And yes, Haim will put in an appearance on stage as well. I know, I'm as shocked as you are.
