Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association is this week's cause. Okay, so its not going to save the world, but a lot of people get flustered when it comes to anything political anyway. For example, if (when) I post about Vancouver Palestine Solidarity Network, certain peeps will shy away. Not everyone is down with the arabs these days. But everyone likes kittens! Yay kitties!

Me and Sarah are proud foster parents to Pocket and Rocket. Pocket is the grey one that our boy Pino is clutching, and Rocket is the other. At first we called them Silly and Billy, but determined that it was a tad too Paris Hilton for us. Pino thinks he's a stud now that there are two frisky bitches vying for his attention. What a dog.

Yeah, so, VOKRA is the shiznit.

VOKRA are "cheap criminals" who "take anything saleable, with healthy and beautiful cats fetching the highest prices"! It's true. I read it on a telephone poll. You can see the press release at www.frogstylebiscuit.com (Scroll down, or do a find for "VOKRA"). Scandalous!

oh, good lord. do you seriously take a letter posted to a telephone pole for gospel? why don't you go ahead and check out the v.o.k.r.a. head quarters for yourself? The high prices are what keep this non-profit afloat. And I can assure you that it is hardly a glamourous situation. As for theiving healthy cats, give me a break. They trap feral cats, fix them and then release them. The domestic cats that they rescue are found in dumpsters, in boxes, and in all other unimaginable situations. I'd look elsewhere for your conpiracy theory. Nice try though.
