There's just so many things to say... I could go on about how Stockwell Day used to support banning of books, or how Stephen Harper has gone on record about how his religious views guide his political aspirations, but I don't have the time to write an essay on this.

I grew up in Alberta, surrounded by Progrssive Conservatives who later became Reforrrrrrmers who later became The Conservative Party. It would be silly to say that they're always wrong, or to compare them to the US Republicans, or to say that they're more corrupt than the other politicians.

Politicians are human, and humans would appear to be generally quite corrupt with nepotism and graft everywhere. It's not a big surprise to me then that the Liberals had a bit of a stolen money and some people with questionable ethics; maybe I should be shocked, but I suppose I'm jaded.

Personally, I'm hoping for a minority government where the Liberals and the NDP can be the only partners needed to form a government; the fiscal "responsibility" of the Liberals, combined with the social spending of the NDP could work well in a minority. I fear that BC will turn to the Conservatives, voting against the party in power again...

You have until 7:00pm. Go vote.
