Wow, I don't think I've ever quite seen this panhandling guilt-trip tactic used before. "Ignore the poor... It's not your problem," reads Ada's sign. An oddly appropriate message considering the recent hype about how lousy the BC welfare system is working for those who need it most. Has the Lib government messed things up in such a way that Ada winds up destitute and angry? The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives study slammed the Lib government
with a resounding "yes." Ada never mentioned it, nor did she say she even was attempting to snag more pocket change with her sign. "It's just what I was feeling today when I wrote it."

Of course he asked her permission. He did get her name and her opinion, did he not?

Why? They didn't ask permission to clog up our street corners and harass everyone.

Is it wrong of me to want a suit to stand beside her with a sign that says "You're right."

^ Yes, it is.

As you can see, Why, she's not harrassing anyone. She's sitting there making a bracelet. Next time you can get pissed off at people waiting for the bus.
