Midnight and Critical

Ok ok, I know bike month is over, but hell every night is bike month in this city. Particularly in summer, of which we ain't even reached the halfway point of yet. I've posted on Midnight Mass before, but frankly have never been able to go 'cause of work and such. But since many of us are slacker for summer (and since the weather is totally fucking pleasant) it's a great time to go for a midnight urban cruise along with fifty other nocturnal bike punks.
Here's the goods from Simon, the man himself. The Vancouer Midnight Mass: A group of cycle loving maniacs who gather on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month for a midnight bike ride. Join us at 11:45 at Grandview Park (Charles st. @ Commercial drive, across from the Havana and Turks), ride at midnight!
Ok.
Then on Friday there's the July Critical Mass. Lots of bikes, hot asses, and people who prefer Rousseau's definition of anarchism.
And here's the hot tip: there is an afterparty at the Anza club. No theme that I know of, but admission's only 3 bucks with a costume. Timothy Wisdom will be in the house, keeping the floor hopping with funky beats. Seriously, this guy is one of the best "party" djs I know.

Don't forget the July Crit Mass is Pride-themed. Although feel free to show up however way you want :)
