Midnight Mass tonight

Considering that tonight is the last Midnight Mass ride of summer, and also considering that tonight is the first ever Midnight Underwear Ride, it seems like it should be a hot night. All those sexy late-night boys and girls with their tight bike-riding bums parading their skivvies... it kinda makes you wanna put on your Sunday Best thong, don't it?

And if you think that it might be too chilly to ride stripped down, rest assured that the rides tend to be fast, though not quite sweaty. Definitely none of that slowpoke Critical Mass business.

Having finally went on the last ride myself, I really dug the scene. The midnight vibe is more like a party on wheels. A few beers were downed, a few faces were introduced, a few names were forgotten, and a few crashes were had. That ride went from East Van to Granville Island where everyone rode along the boardwalks, through the alleys, and all through the Em Carr parking garage. That was rad. The parkade security guard seemed to get his kicks too. As usual the ride destination/directions are collectively decided.
