How great is this? IKEA is a displaced and overwhelming island of cheap home goodies; out of reach for the common man (or woman as the case may be). But not anymore.... Every Satruday you can score a ride down to the Richmond IKEA with their free shuttle bus leaving Airport Station.

COOL! Take the 98 B-Line to Airport Station. Opposite Bay 3 on Cessna Drive you'll see the stop where IKEA whisk you off every nine minutes to their magical land in nine minutes. it's only a 9 minute shuttle to IKEA Richmond. Look for the yellow bus leaving every 1/2 hour from . rumor has it you will not turn into a donkey.

As well, they're offering free delivery but you can research that yourself because this ain't no freaking ad.

It's about time. Taking the transit bus to the Ikea store is at most times difficult as they only come once an hour and will occasionaly cancel them. One time I had no trouble getting to the Ikea store but had to wait 2 and half hours for a bus to take me away from the Ikea....

Watch out. The bus ends in the early evenign so if you shop extra-late you won't be able to shuttle home and you'll ahve to take the crappier transit bus.
