Another advertising success story! Dentyne is blessing our city with images of attractive young men and woman with jizz-like squirts of blue gooey stuff conveniently splattered on their necks and faces. Hmm, I don't know, statusq, how can you be so sure it's supposed to be cumshots? Geez, how can you people be so naive? The prevalence of porn in society and on our home computers ensures that even litle kids will accidentally come across hardcore sexual images sooner or later, so why not connect the dots?

092606_dentyne2.jpgAnd if you're still not convinced, then check the Dentyne website, where the larger campaign about hetero pick ups is revealed. It's a pretty brutal stereotypical load, more than likely aimed at frosh kids and their over-developed younger siblings.

I get the feeling that if spooging is going to hit the mainstream it's going to have to do it in a roundabout way. So let's find spooge targets that aren't quite so recognizable, like men. (Dan Savage must love this). Or even little kids. (Seriously people, this Oozinator ad really really really disturbs me: I can just imagine the pedophiles rubbing their hands (and crotches) with glee.092606_dentyne3.jpg

Anyhow, I can't tell if this sort of stuff is funny or disturbing. But I DO know this: the Dentyne Ice gum with the minty centre only gives you an embarassingly tiny droplet of liquid, a pathetic excuse for a Money Shot, regardless of how generous the director could be. I would spend your money elsewhere.
