God, sewing bees are so passe. Sure a doiley will look great under your teapot, but it won't make the kiddies ooh and aah over your sexy, stylin' chopper. But dang where can you get one of those things? Too bad. You can't. But. You can build your own, and you will have every opportunity to do so at this weekend's bike bee.

There's a full schedule of events involving everything from how to weld your own bike, to bike repair workshops, to making jewellery out of bike parts and whathaveyou. Everything you wanted to know about bikes, plus a few saucy things you shy kids might not want to see even.

Bike Bee
Fri Oct 20, Oct 21, Oct 22.

Right on. Awesome idea. Hanging out in the sun and working on bikes is a great way to spend a day.
