Apparently it's going to snow tonight. That would be fun. NOT! (I learned that from Borat).

We all know not to eat the yellow snow, but pets don't know about the salt.
They won't eat it, but they'll lick it off their fur and get sicky.

I know we don't get snow that often, so people might not know that by law, you have to SHOVEL YOUR SIDEWALKS!!! Gosh. (I learned that from Napolean Dynamite.

Meanwhile, Parksville takes a shot at Vancouver. Hey! That's our job!

Labour unites to help homeless women.

The Auditor General slammed the provincial government saying its treaty negotiation process is taking too long and needs to rethinks its strategy.

The Aquarium got approval for expansion, despite concerns from The World Society for the Protection of Animals, Canadian Marine Environment Protection Society, Vancouver Humane Society Zoocheck Canada, No Whales in Captivity and Whale Friends; and despite Alan de Genova leaving the NPA as a result of his stance against the expansion.

Meanwhile the city wisens up and extends the budget consultation process.

In today's Metblog "gift to the world" series, they go with mountain biking or something. Greenpeace, Flickr, and trail riding. Logical progression.

Canucks beat the Bluejackets.
