portobello3.JPGThe Plaza of Nations was shut down today by the City of Vancouver, and before it reopens, the glass roof covering the stage will either have to be repaired or removed since it was declared unsafe for public use. The Plaza of Nations is the only downtown outdoor event space in the city, and has been standing since it was built for Expo '86. One of the events that will be affected by the closure is the monthly Portobello West Market. The market will now move indoors to the Rocky Mountaineer Station located at 1755 Cottrell Street, beginning this Sunday, November 26th.
