Person Of The Week - Nick Louie

Nick rules, he is the best! He is the main man of NLA- Nick Louie and Asociates one of the biggest skate hip hop clothing and shoe distributers around. I have known him since the Clubhouse, the indoor skate park I used to help run in '93. He used to sponsor various skate events and contests at the park. We have been great friends ever since.

Gman, my son Garret's parties.

Red Bull.

In the army.

What is you favorite restaurant in Van?
I like the restaurants in the East Side, Commercial Drive and Main St.

Music?
HIP HOP!

How did you get into clothing distribution?
I was on my way to becoming a brain surgeon and I switched modes.

What are the responsibilities of being Nick Louie??
Mentoring the peeps around me.

What is new in fashion?
Men in tights.

Any cool events or parties commin' up?
Burliest and Timebomb parties.

What are some of the the coolest things about Vancouver?
The mountains, the ocean breeze and the summer at wreck Beach.

What are the worst?
Traffic.

What do you do about Vancouver's rainy days?
I walk between the raindrops.
