This Season's It Bag is the Only Bag

While flipping through the pages of the September issue of Fashion Magazine, a tiny little blurb caught my eye. As I have the common lack of restraint when it comes to overloading my purse with things I don't need... makeup, ipod, gum, shoes (you never know), clothes, notebook, camera, water bottle, vitamins, and a myriad of other items, I couldn't help but be intrigued by the mention of a bag that can be oversized if you want, or folded up nicely if you are having a simplified day. The designer of this bag is Vancouverite Erin Templeton. Erin was born here, but studied shoemaking at Cordwainer's College in London England. I was happy to be the one to tell Erin about her mention in Fashion magazine, and asked her to tell me her inspiration behind the Only bag...a girl needs.
"I made the Only, for me because I am always over dressing, I hate to be cold or hot, so if I go out to an opening or someplace fun at night, and then I have scarves, and hats and big sweaters piled up all over the place, I made a bag that looks small when you need it too, but can accomodate all your crap, when you need it too, as well as it makes a great pillow on a train! People have discovered it works well for lap tops, for ladies in the working world."
All of Erin's designs...including the Only bag, can be found in Vancouver at Eugene Choo, Dream, The Block, and Gravity Pope.

I am so glad you're writing for Beyond Robson. I've been wanting to write about Erin for ages. What's next? Link? Dace? Picnic? Stoked.
