Thrifty Church Sales

I ain't no bible thumper but I do know a good bargain when I see one. Now that I am single. I have been hit with a bad ass case of having to buy things, mostly clothes. Maybe it is my instinct to try and attract a mate? Probably not. I am really enjoying being single, so whatever. Anyhow have found the best little church thrift store in Marpole, run by a bunch of crabby ol' church ladies that always seem to be complaining about this or that .The atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable but they have some cool stuff. They are only open twice a week .Thursdays and Saturdays.

St. Agustine's church thrift store 8680 Hudson st at the corner of 72nd Also, keep your eyes peeled for church sales in your hood they usually happen once a year (the big ones,) they have the greatest deals ever and it is stuff that has been saved up all year. Usually at the end of the day they do bag loads fulll of stuff for 5 bucks. But don't come at the end. You need to be the 1st in line when the doors open to get the real gems.
