John Fluevog Annual Sample Sale!

For three days only, Vancouver shoe guru John Fluevog will be holding a sample sale at his Granville Street flagship store. Fluevog's quirky, creative, funky aesthetic has really given him a cult following among shoe addicts throughout Canada and beyond.

Sample pair of shoes and boots now are on sale for both men and women - lots of size 6's, with some of sizes 7, 8, 9 and 10 (with men's sizes going all the way up to 12). The bigger sizes will sell out sooner, so if you've got feet larger than a size 6 you may want to get there tonight or tomorrow morning. Prices are: $125 for shoes and $175 for boots. Some of the samples never actually made it to the main production floor, so this is a great chance to snag a totally unique, one-of pair of shoes or boots.

John began designing shoes in the late 1960's. What began with one little retail shop in Vancouver has grown into an international phenomenon, with stores in Seattle, Boston, Toronto, NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Melbourne, Australia. Made in small factories in rural Poland and Portugal (with some cutom work done by Fluevog himself at the Vancouver shop), only a few hundred pairs are made at a time, with many designs limited to one year runs.

Fluevog Shoes are made with biodegradeable, replaceable soles, and a percentage of all shoe sales is donated to children's charities. Not only do they look great on your feet, but you can feel great about shelling out your hard-earned cash for another pair of shoes. That said, if you go this weekend, you'll pay even less!

The sample sale started tonight at 5pm. If you can't stop by before they close at 8pm, the shop will open up again tomorrow morning at 11am - be sure to get there early for the best selection! The sale runs all weekend long, ending on Sunday May 27th.
