*UPDATED* After months of bated breath my fashion dream is very close to coming true: The Adidas store finally opens this Saturday.

How they did all the renovating and stocking without me noticing I'll never know because I've had my eye on that storefront for months now. True, I don't ride my bike to work anymore so I don't cruise down Granville every single weekday and then some but I do walk along Granville semi-regularly and I never pass up a chance to check up on Adidas' progress. Definite obsession.

Anyways, if it's anything like the Adidas Original stores I've seen elsewhere it's going to be killer. The Carlos Gruber stuff is going to knock your fleece socks off. But so will the prices - don't expect anything to be 'reasonable'.
Just because they're opening their doors doesn't mean this Adidas-obsessive saga will end here: Check back to learn if Adidas breaks my heart or if I quit my day job and become a sales rep just so I can be that much closer to the coveted polyester.
