The Rocky Horror Picture Show

There used to be a time when I knew every single word to every single song. Every step to every dance (I never learned to tap but I knew Columbia's tap solo). And the banter? I actually went to the library to do research on what could be screamed at the screen. I had it all written down and memorized. I knew when to spin the screen around, when to deal the cards, when to do the Denton cheer (and not stumble, not even once). Yes, I am a member of the Rocky Horror Picture Show fan club.

It's been ages since the last time I did the Time Warp but this year I'm taking my fan club pin out of retirement. I'm going to polish it up, don my Transylvanian outfit and go on a nostalgic little journey past the No Trespassing sign.

Usually it's been the Vogue or UBC SUB that have usually done the perverse honours but both are in another orbit this Halloween. The Annex is advertising that they are screening RHPS this Saturday at 22.00. They don't allow waterguns but nothing about toast or frankfurters.
