Photo Feature 26 Oct 2007:

Good evening dear readers and welcome back to the Friday Photo Feature. Join me a for a few minutes this evening as I highlight some of the best and brightest photos and photographers in our fair city.

How do I chose the images? I simply browse through the Beyond Robson Flickr group looking for the best images. Joining the group is free, so if you want your shot at being featured here on the front page of Beyond Robson start submitting today!

Today's theme is "there is no theme."

All of today's images are not done justice by their thumbnails, so please take the time to click through to the full sized images!

Starting us off today is Silvery Bones 3 by sp clarke, an all too familiar sight for anyone who lives in Vancouver. I love the lines in this, and the water drops as well. Truly, an image of sorrow.

Next is an untitled long exposure image by JakeInVan looking towards Science World. While this whole image is spectacular, it's the light trails on the street that really make this one stand out to me.

Thirdly is Crow by benderson. There are a lot of reasons to like this photo, but the one that did it for me is the perspective which, unless you look carefully, makes the crow look ginormous. Yes, that is a technical term.

Last but not least is red walk by T. Burd. Autumn leaves on concrete, another familiar site to Vancouverites this year. What I like about this particular photo is the amazing contrast of the red leaves against the stark grey concrete. It's gold Jerry, gold.

That's it for this photo feature. For the time being I'm going to be doubling them up and posting once a week at least until my life settles down a touch. Right now I am going to let each of the photographers know that they have been featured. Right now you guys should all congratulate them on their fine work!
