This Saturday (12.00 - 21.00) is Citytv's Taste of the City at the Plaza of Nations.

Not only is it free to get in but you get to try food from restaurants that you normally wouldn't check out on your own because of budget (i.e. C Restaurant, Feenie's, Mosaic), location (i.e. Observatory at Grouse Mountain) or just because you've never heard of the place before (i.e. Chutney Village, Taverna Gorgona).

Seems like all you do is waltz into the the Plaza of Nations, buy tickets (starting at fifty cents a pop) for bite-sized treats. How cool is that?

This was originally posted on Urban Vancouver and then "crossposted" in Van Eats and then, um, doublecrossposted by me. Yay originality!
