Dine Out Vancouver's Last Week

Just a reminder that Dine Out Vancouver ends on Thursday. There is still room at most restaurants. I am planning to go to Aurora Bistro tomorrow night, I booked yesterday (Sunday) and they still have room for the rest of the week for the $25 three course set menu.

They offer three choices for each course and after salivating over the options online I have made my choices. I'm starting with 'Sweet Corn and Smoked Sablefish Bisque with Lime Creme Fraiche', and then once I've licked the bowl clean I'll move on to the 'Maple Soy Roast Cornish Game Hen, Wild Mushroom Polenta, Rustic Smoked Tomato Sauce'. And of course I won't be able to leave without overstuffing myself on the 'Ganache Studded Warm Chocolate Cake, Cranberry Ginger Compote and Black Sesame Tuille'.

If you haven't taken advantage of this fun, annual opportunity then I suggest you find a date and peruse the list of restaurants still taking reservations. Make several choices before you get your heart set however as most restaurants will be quite booked and may not be able to accommodate your time selection.
