Weekend Warrior

UPDATED A weekend without dancing is a weekend wasted. Maybe I'll wake up before my alarm clock come Monday morning but there's no way I'll feel revitalized and ready to rock the corporate world. However, those weekends where I end up with seized-up calves from a ten-hour session and lose my voice because I had to tell everyone that the second to last mix of the night was fucking genius (I also like to sing along to my fave tracks even if they don't have any words), and there's nothing in the fridge because I was just having too much fun to care about nutrition... those are the weekends that give way to the most productive weeks. In and out of the office. Because it's the time that I spend on the dance floor, among my friends or solo, that makes the grind more than palatable and my love for life so cheesy.

In this weekly column I'm going to help you have the time of your life. I want every weekend to be the best weekend EVER. Maybe as time goes on I won't be focused solely on electronica (and not even on the full gamut of electronica, snob that I am) but for now it's all about the 'techno' (hopefully someone gets the joke...).

This is the last weekend of the summer and there is some serious hedonism we're going to partake in before putting the water wings away. Just don't forget to wear sunscreen.
