DJs Make the World Go 'Round 4

I've only seen Kyle Nordman spin once and that was before Brad Copeland's set at the Underwear Farm one or two years ago. I think I may have shaken his hand and congratulated him on a set well done. His music and mixing rocked and he had no qualms showing that he was having a blast behind the decks. Don't you wonder sometimes why some DJs look so morbid when they're playing? It's depressing.

First introduction to music?
Probably in the womb, but I don't remember. Took piano at an early age, as well as various other instruments... graduated to guitar, then back to piano and, more accurate, keyboards.

Favourite all time party/set in Vancouver (doesn't necessarily have to be yours)?

Really enjoyed Danny Howells & Behrouz @ Plush, Felix The Housecat @ Sonar (the first time he came), my set opening for Ritchie Hawtin was hella fun too, Ritchie was up in the booth grooven to the beats.

Are you happy with the Vancouver scene?

It goes through ups and downs, I mean a scene is what you make of it. Yea I could complain about the fact that we don't have the same mass as other cities that go out to the more underground shows... Yea I could say that there are a lot of music snobs here that like their cliques way too much.

But frankly at the end of the day, if things are going good for you, the scene is strong and you enjoy it.

It's all music to me, and the people that support it.

Why do you reckon the scene is smaller than other cities of Vancouver's size?

Mass.

Would you relocate as a DJ?

Sure, why not?

What makes Vancouver the best city EVER?

Atmosphere.
