Game Over

Put away your joystick, Hi Score is closing Shine's side door for the last time on December 26. After two years its promoters still show an insatiable hunger for many forms of electro but the managers show a different, not so noble, hunger.

And so it goes, another daring club night packs it up.

What needs to be done for a club night to be a success, stunning or otherwise? There are a handful of weekday clubnights that boast weekend numbers but the number has no correlation with the fact that Vancouver is a big city with lots of young kids that like to party and don't have to wake up early.

If you're lucky enough to have the week between Christmas and New Year's off I'd suggest that you go down and pay your respects to that teeny tiny room and the guys that made it happen.
