Not to be confused with a New Year's Eve Gender Bender, though with the show I plan to attend, you just never know.

There's Bocephus King, Carolyn Mark, Los Furios, Sweatshop Union, The B.T.U.s, The Highballs, and Death Sentence. You could even check out Stinkmitt if you really hate yourself and feel you don't deserve enjoying your New Year's Eve.

The show I'm most interested in at this point features live music from a number of different genres; details and MP3 sample below the jump...

There's Ani Kyd, Approach the Throne, Something About Reptiles, and mr. plow are playing The Brickyard.

Something About Reptiles is a group that I've heard described as "Turkish Pop" and I've seen billed alongside the likes of goth funny man Voltaire. Playing with metal girl Ani Kyd who asserts that Evil needs candy, this should be an interesting combination.

What really sells it is the opening act; Mr. Plow, the punk folk musician who croons about his life growing up with his Crackhead Mama and poses questions such as Are You Really a Guy? (mp3)

Mr. Plow's MySpace for more quality tunes.
