The Tyee's Weekly Music Pix

The awesome Tyee has started a weekly music column, Music Pix, and basically that week's writer comes up with a theme and then gives you their top five songs that satisfy it. Does that make sense? I think I will have to resort to giving you an example.

A few weeks ago Andrew from Red Cat suggested the best five songs to "wallow in your winter decrepitude." Quinn at From Blown Speakers came up with five tracks that will warm your frozen little appendages.

And me? Well, when I was asked to share a bit of myself I ignored the seasonal theme and came up with the best five songs EVER to sing along to when you're on the dance floor and your favourite DJ is doling out the goodness like nobody's business.

This column is going to be great for aspiring trainspotters because the contributors' backgrounds and tastes are diverse and they face zero restrictions. I'll be linking to this column on the day it comes out so make sure you take a moment to scope it out.
