Geez, didn't you even know that New Order has a bass player? Or did you think it was just like preprogrammed synthesizer stuff? He plays, the bass, he really does. Come to Richards on Friday, and see him play. But not the bass. His present stint is touring as a dj. I suspect it'll be interesting considering that this guy was a major electronic music innovator. Also he used to dis djs. (Oh you've all done it: "So he sticks a couple songs together. Big deal.") Well now Hook is happy to eat his words, and show you why.

The tour is partly to promote the upcoming Hacienda compilation that Hook compiled. The Hacienda is touted as the club that spawned dj culture, which Hook helped open. I'm pretty curious to see what he'll spin: tech classics? Guitar rock? Petshop Boy remixes? Pop on down on Friday, and find out.
