Motor city rock band The Dirtbombs will be appearing at Richard's on Richards on April 2. Look forward to a great show by this set of Detroit musicians; especially if you're the sort that likes that special ballsy, soulful guitar-heavy rock that Detroit has become known for. Their own recipe includes two bassists, two drummers, and one guitar, which should provide a lot of Soul for a sunday night.

Vocalist Mick Collins (ex of the Gorieslists the band's musical influences as including Wire, Pere Ubu, and Mission Of Burma.

Bands on the bill for support: Black Lips and Nasty On

Check out the fan-run Myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/thedirtbombs if you want to hear what you might be in for. There's also the Official web page to help provide some context.

Tickets are $15 and available at TicketMaster.
