Weekend Warrior - March 23, 2006

Last Saturday I went out to the Red Room because my fave M.D. was spinning in the back room. I was there for about two hours and, I swear, they subtracted years from my life... yes, it sucked *that* much. It was one continuous, grating loop in the main room. That would have been fine since I was there to check out the Doctor but he and Nima got booted off early so some disco house super star could give us some fever. And it's not like their tag session was even that good... I was expecting Dr. Jones' brand of electro/mash-up/old and nostalgic tracks but instead I got some non-descript house.

In other news: Fetish Night at the Lotus has retired. What does that mean? Nevermore will the househeads have to give up the Sound Lounge every last Saturday of the year.
