I realize it might be a little tardy to be telling you there is a great show at the Red Room tomorrow (Saturday, April 22nd) night. After all you probably have PLANS because you are popular and cool. However if for some reason you don't have PLANS and happen to enjoy folky, rootsy soul, acoustic rock (think Jack Johnson meets Remy Shand meets Bebel Gilberto) then this info is for YOU, but then again you probably already have tickets.

Josh Rouse is touring his sixth album, Subtitulo, which is clearly inspired by his recent move to Spain. His music is an appealing potpourri; he ranges from folk, to gospel, to blues, and so on. His Myspace profile classifies his music as other/garage/lounge, if that gives any indication of his leanings. You can think of his music as good fusion food, a nice complement of world flavors between two slices of wholesome wholewheat bread.
