June 1 - MySpace Roulette

It's taken a bit of digging, but I've managed to put together a listener's audio tour of Thursday night's Music Waste shows thanks mostly to the proliferation of MySpace pages for bands. This isn't the time or the place to question design issues with difficult to read layouts or the with the whole Rupert Murdoch thing; as it stands now, MySpace appears to be the current place to go to find out about local bands.

After the break, I've listed thursday's full lineup, complete with links to their Myspace pages. The bands aren't necessarily in order of appearance or anything; just in the order they're listed on the map from the Only guys. I haven't found a set schedule online of times; not that I would trust it regardless, as there's always those little 'issues' that keep a band from starting on time. Pick a venue and stick it out for the evening, or take your chances on missing everything you want to see. The samples of music below should help you narrow things down a bit.

Update: Thanks to Chuck @ Only, we now have predicted start times. I don't believe I've ever seen a sound person at The Pic or at The Columbia before 10:30 ever, so this should be good.

Thanks for the addition, Chuck. I thought I'd seen times someplace, but couldn't seem to dig them up when I was compiling the list of MySpace links today.
