A Keane Sense Of Kaos

keane256.jpgIn the midst of delving into my germane Pete Doherty timeline, I had sprung at me, the latest tidbit from overseas involving our Brit Brat Pack (The Libertines, Keane, Bloc Party & of course Master Pete).

Seems this time Keane frontman Tom Chaplin has stepped up to the rehabilitation podium to take a bow before the British press.

Scheduled to hit Vancouver On Oct. 1, we may never see the chart-topping group anytime soon. I'm sure comparisons will be made in regards to close friend Pete Doherty who recently pleaded guilty last week to cocaine possession. Although the bands' official explanation for the upcoming tour dates being cancelled was "Exhaustion". He might fair better with his fans after releasing this statement:

"I feel desperately disappointed to be letting down our fans, but I want to get myself right now so that I can be back on the road for the rest of the year," Chaplin said.

One must wonder if in this day and age (in the music business), we find ourselves still drooling over other peoples misery.

From the looks of it...we're all gonna need a bigger bib.
