THE PRESETS ARE COMING!

I want to run down the street waving my arms furiously screaming, "THE PRESETS ARE COMING, THE PRESETS ARE COMING!" I'll light my hair on fire for the extra attention.

Can you believe it? THE PRESETS ARE COMING! They're coming on September 27 which is a Wednesday and I'm going to rock out so hard to that show that I'm going to have harsh whiplash for the next week.

This could very well be the best show in Vancouver of the year. So serious.

THE PRESETS ARE COMING! I saw them live at the last Ladytron show. I walked into the venue right when they were singing Girl and the Sea and my heart quivered. In fact, my heart was weak. When I was grabbing my tickets from the wicket I just happened to see who the surprise opening guests were and when I saw upside down on the chick's manifest The Presets I gasped - ok, I know I always tell people about this gasp but it was truly a gasp of monumental porportions, like the type of gasp that someone who have gasped upon hearing about Deep Throat in the '60s or a gasp when you find out you didn't just pass history but you ended up in the top five percentile or when you find out that your favourite band is going to be playing only a two-hour flight away and you have the money to do it - I totally gasped.

Anyway, they rocked me hard. And this time they're going to rock me harder because I know all the words by heart and there will be probably more room to dance.

THE PRESETS ARE COMING! Look, I just noticed I called their music electropunkdiscospaz in my The Presets review that was thinly veiled as a Ladytron review.

THE PRESETS ARE COMING! Are you going to go? I am. Why? Because they are flawless and shameless and Kim claps his hands like a pro. The songs are jarring and melodic and freaky and sweet and o so right. They feel so good and if I believed in chakras I'd say that they affected each and every one at the same precise moment and for a very long time.
