Paper Cranes! My!Gay!Husband! P6 Afterparty!

I was feeling pretty annoyed at having comped tix for the Polysics gig, since it's on the same night as the Paper Cranes gig at the Columbia. And I've been dying to see the Paper Cranes for over a year, and then I missed the first show, and then they canceled the next one... Well, the heavens above are shining this week, 'cause not only will Japanese hyper crazy band Polysics play the Plaza, but then Victoria's Paper Cranes are actually playing the official P6 afterparty along with My!Gay!Husband! Oh life, you're just too sweet on me sometimes!

The Paper Cranes are one of those bands who'd you'd guess could come from late 80's London, if you weren't up on your Canadiana. Comparisons to the Cure are obvious enough but only if people are referring to Love Cats and not Lullaby. And if that's not reason enough to check these guys out, then you can just be a snob and wait for My!Gay!Husband! to start spinning records and you can not dance and sip beer in the dark corner. (Actually that does sound kinda appealing).
