East VS West Showdown at Open Studios

It's a Funk Revolution tonight (Saturday the 17th!) at Open Studios. Jesse Morris the Dance Floorist will be one contender in a battle of sorts at the art gallery / live music venue on E 1st.

Also known as DJ Shine now and way back when he lived and played in Vancouver, Jesse was big on the West Coast and played many festivals, including Soundwave, but has since moved back to his hometown of Montreal. I guess he's an East Coast rep tonight.

Open Studios has held over 100 media art, video, installation and electronic music events since it opened its doors about 3 years ago. Find it at #200 - 252 E. 1st, Vancouver.
