I can't believe I forgot that these guys were coming to town. I need to witness the self-proclaimed Greatest Band on Earth live at least once before I die.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass' enduring and shockingly rocking band, Tenacious D, will be gracing the Queen Elizabeth Theatre this evening (Tuesday) with an added show for Wednesday.

Beginning in 2001 with such hits as "Fuck Her Gently," and "Kielbasa," Tenacious D waited five whole years before giving their fans another treat.

They're touring The Pick of Destiny, their newest album, which shares its name with the accompanying feature film that came out last fall. (The DVD of the Tenacious D movie will be released a week from now - February 27.)

Yikes, you're right. I thought it was only the first show.

Best bet: keep checking Craigslist.
