Awesome Lineup @ BEATS WITHOUT BORDERS, April 26th

What if every club in Vancouver and every arts collective that throws large gartherings donated 5% of their Net proceeds to a charity of choice? Can you imagine the impact, the shelters we could build, the outreach that would be possible to those in need? Well, Beats Without Borders is doing just that: they "donate 5% of everything we make to Doctors Without Borders ," as their website reports.

On that note, Beats Without Borders is hosting another stellar nite at The Red Room to a stellar lineup. BWB "made a name for themselves by throwing monthly parties at local clubs, by bringing in big names such as Cheb i Sabbah, Janaka Selekta, SubSwara, Adham Shaikh" with the healiner Makyo, from Dakini Records (a label boasting of a number of amazing artists) headlining the nite. Among other experimental-meets-cultural-fusion music on the label.

I may comment further after the show to fill y'all in on the nite. As it stands we've got two passes to this gig, for reasons of impartiality...anyone else interested? Cheers ;)
