Morning Brew: PLEASE STOP HONKING! Look, I'm even waving a white flag! I'm surrendering! Yet, it's almost like that makes you want to honk more.

Yes, I know, it's arbitrary, geographically pre-determined, group-think, but man its fun. Our local sports team is better than their local sports team.

"They streamed up and down sidewalks like boozy models on a jersey catwalk, armed with flags and thrilled bravado." Dude, you know you're writing about sports, right? 'And then the throngs of throbbing Canuck blue, ebbing like a frantic sea, white towels like whitecaps; coupled by the harmonic hum of car horns like a flock of delirious Canadian snow geese descended upon the humble city. The End.'

Vancouver Metro commuter paper losing money. That's because everybody reads Morning Brew before they leave, right? RIGHT?

While "An 11th - hour deal between Pacific Press and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union means that subscribers to the Vancouver Sun and the Vancouver Province won't have to go without their daily dose of advertorial right-wing cheerleading until at least the Rapturolympic year of 2010". -Bear604

Old Sam The Record Man building touted as art space. Will the so-called Creative City live up to its rhetoric?

And Strike up the accordion and get out your Gitanes - a little bit of Paris is coming to Gastown.

Outspoken DERA critic wins eviction fight. "I'm going to continue to fight until there's no breath left in me to fight any more." Who exactly are you fighting against Jamie? The voices in your head?

Women's safety a priority. We're just not going to pay for it.

Why are you so critical of Jamie?

The editorial stance of morning brew is all twisted: pro-Potvin, anti-JLH, always bitchy.

I'm critical of Jamie because she is loose with facts and libelous. She seems to be paranoid that everyone is out to get her; she has a victim complex.

I'm not necessarily pro-Potvin, but am very pro-free speech. There was a issue earlier on the brew when I linked to a website that also happened to have an article on Ernst Zundel.

Ans bitchy? Well that's just a compliment. I'd rather be pissed off than pissed on.

Kicking a person out of a political party for something they said

vs.

Kicking someone out of their home for something they said

A person's civil liberties are only being stepped on in one of the examples above. Can you tell which?

I have witnessed Jamie Lee Hamilton berate people many times, at social events and in private meetings.

This cannot be denied.

At least people are for the most part knowledgable enough not to take her too seriously.

In my experiences, she is a vicious, abusive person whom obviously has many internal problems that, at her age she is still having diffculty managing.

It is well known around town that she is especially not to be trusted with business wise.

Its also a good idea not to divulge too much personal information to her as she likes to change the facts to some degree in order for her to move forward (she thinks) at her intention to blackmail.

Look Dick, don't get me wrong, I probably would have kicked Potvin out of my party too, its just the medias reaction to his comments which I find so contradictory to the process of Free Speech.

And keep in mind that JLH has been sued for libel before, and that the issue is not as simple as kicking someone out for something someone said. If it were, I would have no choice but to agree with you. However given the context and the history of the individual in question, I am skeptical that it is so simple.

I just read her so called 'blog' and gotta ask, if she does not reside there as she claims, then why does she need the residence?

Is there some new movement where a person can have more than one social housing unit and call it home?

I also suspect 'Dick Trimble' is JLH.

Sounds like she has some entitlement problems.

While Dick Trimble is a pseudonym, I am most definitely not JLH.

Jamie's views on Potvin are diametrically opposed to my own.

She's apparently going to be in deep, deep trouble again real soon.

Stay tuned folks!

Looks like JamieHe is now attempting to write more crap about others.

Will someone please give her an actual job to keep her busy.

Can anyone answer as to what she contributes to society?

Why are taxpayers supporting her 'disability'?

She'll never learn.
Can't teach an old dog new tricks.

By the way JamieHe, thats not thick skin you have, but fat.
Remember gravy isn't a beverage.

My sources tell me the expose should be almost complete. he he he
