Everything is great in B.C. The economy is booming, as Erin Airton constantly reminds us, and suicide is definitely not the second leading cause of death among children in B.C..

Reaction mixed to new TransLink board composition. One analyst has high hopes for a massive restructuring of TransLink. Simon Fraser University geography professor Warren Gill is hoping the change to an appointed board will eliminate political bickering over planning for the region. Another term for political bickering is democracy, a greek word meaning 'a bunch of corporate elites controlling development visa-vis a pseduo-governmental body is probably a bad thing'.
