Province runs a story about a puppy in its front page. Enough said.

Vancouver residents facing 6% tax hike while Parks get the cut. Hmm, so we get to pay for the Olympics which will be good for business, private security which will be good for business, Eco-Density which will be good for developers, The Gateway Project which will be good for business, while our taxes go up, housing prices go up, transit fares go up, minumum wage stays the same, and federal and provincial governmnents do shit all about climate change while riding on massive surpluses? Yup, sounds about right. (ps this was one page 32 of the Province).

Investment in Downtown Ambassadors will help meet Project Civil City objectives. Because when anyone sees those hideous red jackets they run the other way.

Neglected by the province, foster care is a fast track to the streets. Man that totally crushes my theory that most people on the streets totally choose to be there.

How should we deal with missing women after Pickton?. Um, find them?

Premier losing another Minister. "Labour minister, who won't run again, is latest top woman to part ways with government". But the NDP get criticized for attempting to mandate the number of women in their cabinet?

B.C. is lagging behind in economic growth, crime-fighting and caring for the province's most vulnerable citizens, a group of Premier Gordon Campbell's handpicked advisers warned Thursday. They got paid to tell the premier that? HELLO! OVER HERE!

Meet the new Translink Board. I told you guys they wouldn't really stock the whole thing with business elites. You guys are paranoid.

Three questions for the new TransLink Board. Question one: why are you on the Translink Board?

Let Singh's supporters set him up financially -- in India. "Keeping quadriplegic in Canada just damages Sikh community's standing". Yeah, who really wants a gimp in their crew? He's a total embarrassment. As for the unprovable claim that he'll be tortured as a terrorist in his home country, if only there was something we could learn from the Maher Arar case to help us out in that one. Hmmm...nope. I can't think of anything. Carry on.

Ill-informed campaign over water bottles solves nothing. Yeah man, how does recalling bottles with chemicals in them do ANYTHING to the solve the problem of bottles with chemicals in them?

Wild pink salmon on central coast may vanish in four years. Four fucking years? Shit I'm going to binge on wild salmon haaaarrrrd. Oh no wait, what about the mercury? Aw fuck.

Ha ha. "The use of a photograph of the Golden Temple in a graphic illustrating an international drug ring, which appeared in The Vancouver Sun Dec. 13 on page B3, was not intended to suggest that the temple was involved in the drug ring".
