011108_mb.jpgEx-TransLink board members regret fare hike. Oh, well thats good. As long as they feel bad.

Meanwhile, some kid in high school does a better job than the entire board of Translink, or SCBCTA or whatever its called: South of the Fraser 2011. Oh and he's got an update on Metro's Regional Growth Strategy. Hey GVRD, hire this kid.

Letter to Kevin Falcon. For a fun and interactive challenge for those following along at home, copy and paste the letter into a blank email message, then send it to Kevin.Falcon.MLA@leg.bc.ca. Be sure to change the name at the bottom to your own!

Province needs more jails and Liberals plan to build them. Especially since we'll be rounding up all the vagrants in the next few years.

Meanwhile, those crazy Americans are doing everything backwards again. The City of Seattle recently made it a crime to harass the homeless - the first such law of its kind in North America. But how else are we supposed to degrade them?

Artists get a boost. "Four hundred years from now, Sam Sullivan doubts many people will remember him". Four Hundred? Try 4 minutes from now. He's the most uninspired sack of poo to wear the crown at Cambie and 12th, and judging by the art that has graced Vancouver streets in the last decade, this initiative will be about as inspired.

Isotope crisis prompts calls for Lunn to resign. Isn't Isotope Crisis the name of a Biohazard cover band?

Increased swimming and skating fees hit Vancouver youth. Because we need all the incentives to get them either inside playing video games or outside causing crimes.

Who own's the Vancouver Canucks? Some rich dude who stole it from another rich dude?

Raincity promotes new Lamplighter. Big deal, right? Its just a bar. Well, I can tell you that I'm boycotting it. I don't want to support an owner who turfs longtime residents onto the street. Geeks.

I also won't be attending the Vancouver Social Media Scene: Blogger Meetup, Third Tuesday, Launch Party3 and CaseCamp3. But not becuase of anything political. I'm just kind of embarrassed about being a blogger.

I walked by the 'new' Lamplighter Public House the other day and it looks exactly like Libary Square Public House and the Denman Street Public house which is now The Calling Public House and I'm sure some other Public House.

Better reason to avoid the new lamplighter: that RANCID BAG OF AMPUTEE CUM and king of the douchebag hacks BAZ is going to be playing Pulp b-sides and three year old blog house while guzzling Kreatine and having his teeth buffed by transvestites ...oh..wait not that's not a ...

Ok, clearly I am not the best at following up on my own comments!

Sean -- sure, I'll definitely have to come by Social and chat. I really enjoy Morning Brew. And sorry for the month and a half delay in responding. I haven't found a way to subscribe to 'follow-up' comments.

Hope you're doing well.
