022908_mb.jpgHarper Budget Stiffs Homeless. "I have spent a considerable amount of time in Ottawa promoting the idea of tax changes that would help stimulate the private development of new rental housing," Sullivan said. "Obviously, I haven't been successful in making this case." Yeah, but that might not be Harper's fault. Admit it, you are kind of like Milton from Office Space. -"Um...excuse me, Mr. Prime Minister, I believe you have my funding. I would like to have it now". -Now Milton, don't be greedy, let's pass it along and make sure everyone gets a piece. -Yeah, but last time I didn't receive a piece. And I was told... "

Shhh, there, there Milton. Its all right, because the feds are throwing money to study the homeless. Hmmm, what are these so-called 'homeless' people everyone's talking about? *strokes beard*

David Cadman a 'likely candidate' for mayor. Which brings to mind the immediate question, why would anyone want to be mayor of Vancouver?

Vancouver EcoDensity hearing draws noisy turnout, as protesters chanted the unfortunate slogan, "What do we want? Density! But not EcoDensity because that sounds too political. When do we want it? We already have it, but we would like to see it spread out a bit from downtown and also some protection on heritage buildings!"

Will video surveillance stick around after the Games? No because terrorists will see how beautiful Vancouver is (we have an ocean) and they'll change their minds.

Okay so this is kind of funny: Meth chemicals left in driveway. "There are certain neighbourhoods in Vancouver and Surrey where that is called a yard sale". But it's still The Province.

Immigrants bad for the environment. Whoa.

I was really hoping this next headline was about the CKNW's operating budget: Changing your collective minds can be expensive.

While this one got me excited thinking Harper was on his way out:
Farewell, beloved 'Fatty'.

photo by me again. Sorry for being so awesome.
