Morning Brew: March 13th
TSB report on Queen of the North sinking is anticlimactic. Thank you! But, don't tell the Province that. After all, they have to stretch it out over 5 pages.
Top green advisor sacked by B.C. Libs. Can anyone say carbon tax?
City council gives go-ahead to 'crime free' housing plan. Delivering a brutal blow to all those crime-spree housing plans across the city. Wasn't such a good idea to give each resident a semi-automatic, do-it-yourself meth kit, and a bag of dirty money to launder now WAS IT?
Speaking of money laundering and housing: Realtor Police- "The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada has ratched up the the law". There goes Vancouer's condo boom.
More cops will always solve everything. Always. Oh well, maybe we come up with a way to rate them. And we can get RSS alerts, and share photos. It will be so much fun.
Live @Five: "Police have seized 330 guns and gun parts at the West Georgia international mail depot since April 2007. All items seized have been quickly rerouted to Canadian troops in Afghanistan". Oh snap!
East Side students receive 'active adventure' passports. For a limited time they'll be allowed to cross over Main Street! Kitsilano! What a fun adventure! Look at all the small dogs!
Credit Check: "Oh shit dudes, it's a seriously bad sign when the superbug downs a yoga/life coach/mom -- they're supposed to have a whole pile of hit points. Time to pack up the SUV and move to Clearwater, FL." That's a Dungeons and Dragons reference for you non-nerd nerds. Speaking of hit points.
Condohype: Max out your credit.
Why a Little BC Town Wants to Banish Cell Phones. Because its called New Denver and is located where nobody would care if there was a cellphone ban? Good thing nobody ever gets lost in the woods there ever. Good thing nobody's car has ever broken down on a desolate highway.
Although apparently we suck at owning mobile phones anyway. Get out there and get shopping people. And if you do buy one, may I interest you in Milk on your mobile phone? *cough
Oh yeah, that whole renaming of the Georgia Strait thing? Its not going to happen because we all forgot that it runs down into America, and there's no way them dudes gonna approve the Salish Sea. Freedom Sea maybe.
Still, that's not gonna stop Ferguson from launching into hysterics. Oh the sanctity! Who will protect our whiteness?

Realtor Police - maybe I didnt read the article close enough but it sounds good to me, I dont want to pay an insane price for a place to live b/c organized crime is buying everything in sight ( ?? are they ?? ). The comparison to 1984 is a little alarmist I think. lol. Drama much ?
also.. im looking forward the the 'Saving Throw' reference in a future MB :),, or maybe thats a little much.
