Lunch Break: Bambo is Vancouver's "Sandwich Heaven"

Back when I worked in Gastown my office fell in love with a café with an unusual name: Bambo. If you're worried that you might call it "bamboo" like we did at first, fret no more: we have unofficially renamed the restaurant to "sandwich heaven" by popular consensus.
Bambo serves up sandwiches and coffee with all the fixings. The daily soups are a hearty and healthy option like only mom could make and the salads are consistently good as well.
The sandwiches come in a variety of types but always consist of fresh focaccia bread, a flavourful marinara sauce, light amount of mayo with lettuce and cucumber. Choices for toppings include lemon pepper chicken, roasted vegetable, turkey with cranberry, ham and cheddar and for true west coast flare: a crab sandwich and a lox variety to boot.

This place is weird and gross, i can't wait until it goes out of business and something better takes it's place. Go to Social Deli, it just a block away from Bambo and way cheaper and super tasty. Homer and Cordova, alley entrance.
