The Leeside fundraiser totaly rocked. I had such a blast. What a great spot to chill. Cool in the heat and dry in the rain. The mini ramp and street course were rad and the people were shredin' and having a good time. Lots O' food, loud ass music and skate vids.

It was definitely a fun event and a nice little wad of cash was raised. A good test-run for the big event in September with bands.
The few people who showed up the previous days to shovel gravel can also feel happy that they physically contributed to the park's creation! Awesome. There's still 2/3rds to clear, but we're working on getting a machine to do it and avoid aching backs and blisters!

I can't believe how much gravel was in Leeside. When I went down before I thought it was just a layer of pebbles.
